Amateur players are getting an opportunity to claim A$1m when they face elite players - including world number one Carlos Alcaraz - in a one-point battle before the year's first major

Organizers of the year's first Grand Slam have unveiled the Million Dollar One Point Slam, which will match 10 amateur players against top-ranked players in a single-elimination format at the tournament grounds

Participants must play 'the decision-making game' to establish who gets to serve or return, and the competitor securing the point will move forward to the following stage

The winner of the event will receive approximately half a million pounds
